Our Story

At Base Athletics, our north star is social impact. Making comfortable apparel is our method of doing it sustainably, over and over again. 

As an athlete, I didn't understand why we have to differentiate between clothes for the gym, clothes for lounging around or clothes to travel in. We are going to create a new standard for clothing, to be worn anywhere and any place. 

We are proving our hypothesis through quality, lasting and comfortable men's underwear. We needed something that could handle the rigors of a life on the go, from work to workouts to weekends away. We wanted versatility without sacrificing comfort or style.

Our journey to doing this began with countless fabric tests, wear trials, and design tweaks. We sought out the softest, most breathable materials and crafted underwear that performs in any situation. And because we believe the details matter, we focused on getting the fit just right, eliminating the ride-up and chafing that so many of us know all too well.

We’re not just about making better underwear; we’re about making everyday life just a little bit easier for you and the community around you. For the man who moves seamlessly between the office, the gym, and everything in between, Base Athletic Wear has your back (and everything else).
